We understand the importance of financial support in pursuing higher education and are here to help you every step of the way. The Greater Triangle Area Chapter of the Virginia State University Alumni Association (VSUAA-GTAC) has a main goal to assist students from North Carolina who attend our beloved Alma Mater. This scholarship will be one of many ways we hope to achieve that goal. We proudly announce that we will offer at least 4 scholarships to current VSU students who hail from North Carolina during the Fall semester of the school year. The award will be at least $500 for each recipient. The award will be given in a one time installment. The check will be awarded to the STUDENT. This scholarship will surely serve as a bridge between our chapter and the recipients. Applicants must

have at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average and be enrolled during the first semester.
Upperclassmen are to mail an official Virginia State University transcript and first semester Freshmen are to mail an official high school transcript to Dr. MeChelle Blunt or Mikela Jackson, VSUAA-GTAC (NC) Scholarship Co-Chairpersons.
